Ubiquity Platform

Our “Ubiquitous Communication Platform” manages Bulk and Premium Alert, E-mail and Push Notification.  Additionally Ubiquity provides consultancy services, exploiting its long-standing experience in the messaging sector and collaboration with large companies.

Ubiquity handles both Premium notification, paid for by the end user and Bulk notification, free for the receiver. In both cases, the services are provided through secure connections with Mobile Network Operators or other international partners.

In the case of Push Notification, the service offer is more centralized and clearer compared to the other providers with fallback SMS. For the E-Mail service, the Platform provides the management of transactions and marketing campaigns .

Among the most used services provided by our Platform, there are the management of Alert, the One Time Password and PIN Codes sent via SMS.

ALERT NOTIFICATION

It  notifies the end users about their transactions and banking movements in real time. SMS alert service is an efficient medium of communication that connects the Bank with its customers and it is an important means of security.

SMS alert services are delivered via the UbiMessaging platform which can be configured to meet the specific needs of each client and integrated with their corporate IT systems.

Alert services play an important role in reduction fraud by notifying the customer in real time of any transactions or movements using their personal banking instruments (current accounts, debit cards, equity portfolio, etc.). Ubiquity also manages OTP codes through SMS. This service can be set up either to generate and manage the whole OTP life cycle or simply to send it to the end user.

The OTP service is a secure way to reach customers directly on their mobile phone replacing the token with a text message required by the users when they need it, allowing the company to reach the largest number of contacts at the lowest cost of implementation and execution.

MOBILE PIN

Ubiquity offers solutions for sending credit card and prepaid card PIN numbers via SMS to end users, using a PCI-DSS compliant system that protects the entire transmission, management and delivery cycle.

The system can either send the PIN numbers directly via SMS or hide the PIN with a web-based user identification system.

Sending PINs via SMS is inexpensive, secure and effective since it uses an omnipresent communication system directly controlled by the user and available on all mobile phones, allowing firms to reach the largest number of contacts at the lowest cost of implementation and execution.

SMS Premium

Ubiquity is connected with National and International Operators through UbiMessaging, created in 2003 and continuously updated.

Set-up in Italy to provide Premium SMS services in the financial sector, it soon became partner of the major Italian banks. Its success is owing to value added service, such as consultancy and our experience in the fin-tech field.

Ubiquity is the owner of  “short code” Premium numbers that start with 48 and each number is assigned to a single client for their exclusive use. This ensures recognition and security when sending Premium SMS to end users.

SMS Bulk

Bulk SMS are supplied through both UbiMessaging (specialized in transactional messaging) and the UbiMarketing platform (specialized in marketing campaigns). The use of SMS as a personalized communication channel between company and final user and for mass communication, is becoming more and more common as clients can be reached safely on any mobile device.

Push Notification

Push Notification is a particular type of notification available for the main smartphone platforms and more precisely Apple iOS, Google Android and Windows Mobile. This channel, when utilized correctly, is an extremely effective tool for intesifying  customer engagement and communication with the users. Ubiquity’s cross-channel solution supports Push Notification through UbiPush, Ubiquity’s own platform, that integrates the Push Notification mechanism of three major providers. It’s easy to use and adds functionality for its customers, such as multi-account and multi-device management and fallback SMS.

E-Mail

UbiMessaging Platform also supports the sending of transactional e-mail. This completes the messaging service of alert sms to allow clients to manage delivering messages on different channels and makes it a multi-channel Ubiquity solution.

In addition to sending transactional e-mail, Ubiquity supports its customers in e-mail marketing campaigns through the partner platforms integrated with ours.
